Holga shutter was closed halfway through?

i’ve just taken out my roll of film to be developed. i was just playing around with my holga shutter and i saw something blocking the lens from the inside.
so i switched to the N mode and hold down the shutter and it was obvious, there was something blocking the lens halfway through. i touched it, and it went back in. but there’s still a bit of blockage.
is that how it’s supposed to be? or is my holga getting old?
i don’t remember seeing that thing when i first got my holga.

No, mine is a clear, round opening when in B mode, (which I assume you meant to say rather than N mode). I don’t know what could be there blocking half your lens. So you have not got the film back yet? If the shots are only half exposed, you will know you definitely have a problem. Hey, it’s a Holga. Just get another one if yours is screwed.
